And Tugger, oh BOY this is where things REALLY start to get bad, my gosh you became such a watered down and utterly lame character, absolutely NOTHING compared to the charismatic and charming sleaze ball you were in the original shows i"d seen you in!
Oh, and we can"t be forgetting Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer, who completely lost their accents and high energy, the excitement that hearing them sing once brought was just not there when I saw them in the film.
Everything about this film was disappointing and I find myself so angry at the people who decided making this horrifying mess would be a good idea.
I know i"m not making much coherent sense right now and I probably sound very whiny and come across as snobby and just ungrateful, but ever since I was little I"ve LOVED cats, my parents let me watch the filmed version of the "original" I think) cats and I was obsessed with it. The DVD"s (as there were two) that I used to watch are now so scratched from how frequently I would want to see Cats that the second disc is basically unwatchable past 10 minutes.
So seeing this film really crushed my spirits and I feel just a little sadder with my life in general.
But it"s not all thunderstorms and sadness, my grandma (who had absolutely no prior knowledge of any other media Cats was portrayed in) really enjoyed the film and said that it was everything she loves in a film.
I respect her opinion but I really can"t force myself to enjoy what feels so fake and unloved (weird way of putting it, I know) by all those who had a part in the creation of this.

Download Full cats read. People might tell you this one is a must-see on the sheer power of its badness, or that it is destined to be a midnight feature, or a cultural curiosity like "The Room. Let me tell you this, above all - this movie is BORING! It isn"t even bad in any way that you can enjoy ironically.
I"m not sure I can unpack many of the plot details, as nothing is very clear by the time the credits roll. These cats are "Jellicle cats" which despite its repetition never really gets a definition. They are jockeying for the opportunity to be transported to the "Heavy Side Layer" which is a sort of reincarnation or something. Basically they take a balloon to. heaven or maybe out of cat purgatory? Also some of the cats have magical powers.
The plot is largely nonsense, but the play hasn"t been celebrated for decades on the power of its story, anyway. Most of the running time is a series of cats introducing themselves in song, and. that"s it. The story structure is far from the worst thing going on here, so I"d rather address the real hairballs:
The special effects - No, I wouldn"t say they are as bad as many are saying. There is a bit of "uncanny valley" effect at times and some of the movements look artificial in CGI, but that is indirectly the bigger problem. Elaborate dance routines do lose something when you are keenly aware that it was assembled on a computer and not actually performed by dancers. Other than that, it isn"t much different than if they were in makeup and costume. A cat costume, in whichever way it is applied, makes everything sillier.
The music - I"m not that familiar with the original soundtrack, but the music here is bad in several ways. The instrument set sounds dated, I suspect on purpose to capture the feel of the stage show (maybe. The wah guitar solos and synth horns really evoke 80s era live theater, but it just sounds bad here. Also, the songs are loosely structured in a way that makes them come off improvised against fairly sparse accompaniment; none of it is memorable or fun.
The one recognizable number is cranked out by the over-emoting Jennifer Hudson. Technically, it"s a good performance but you can"t get past the preposterous cat getup. Taken together, ultimately, it just looks ridiculous and the context for the emotional number is dubious and confusing so the number sticks out in a bad way.
The direction - It"d be far down my list of gripes, but I"d be remiss not to mention that the physical scale of things is pretty wonky throughout. Jellicle cats are variously as large as people and small as mice. The kind of attention to detail is on display that allowed Judy Dench"s character to alternate between having human hands and furry hands depending on the scene.
There is plenty more to dislike here, but suffice it to say, this movie isn"t worth your time.
The closing scene, which feels infinitely long, has Judy Dench"s Deuteronomy half-singing-half-speaking a song about how cats are not dogs. This closes out the tragedy that is "Cats. The denouement has nothing to do with any of the characters or events we have sat through, as far as we knew, dogs don"t even exist in this universe. It is pointless, drab, silly, seemingly endless and is thus a perfect coda to "Cats.

Catshit1 full movie english. Full movie casablanca. Full Movie catsuka. I absolutely love this musical in the first place and the movie is just that. I can understand why some people can see it as "cringey" because human actors are playing literal cats and acting out what cats would do and interact as. The cgi takes a little getting used to but once you get used to it it"s totally fine. Rebel Wilson is hilarious, Taylor Swift actually wasn"t too bad, James Corden is a great Bustopher Jones, Jennifer Hudson is amazing, and (as a dancer myself) the dancing is great with all the talented dancers alongside Robbie Fairchild and Francesca Hayward! All the same songs even-though some changed tune or tempo and a new song (for Victoria) which was pretty good. The little extra scenes made people who don"t know the musical understand the overall plot. It"s a written for Broadway show turned into a movie and I think they did a pretty good job. Go see it if you love the musical.

Full Movie cats like. This is my favorite musical, so when I saw the trailer, I was really worried. And I was right-this film looks horrible.
There are parts of the Musical that were cut out, and that"s fine-my apologies to Growltiger-but that actually helps the movie. It"s longer, usually.
The plot isn"t hard; Deuteronomy is judging a competition in which the winning cat will be reborn. The cats are trying to win.
But the way these cats look. Eeegads! Same Judy looks horrible. Sir Ian? Ridiculous. James and Rebel try to give comic relief, but it falls flat. Mcavity turns into a supervillain? Just what?
I really hope the actors were paid a lot because this is seriously bad.
